If you follow me on Twitter you might already know that I dyed my hair a few days ago. Nothing extreme, I just finally decided to use the box of Kao Liese Prettia Soft Bubble Hair Color in Milk Tea Brown that I got from Dull to Doll. I was saving it for a later time, because I wanted to have my hair bleached first so the color would be more apparent. But because I've gotten really sick of seeing my yellowing blonde hair tips, I decided to go ahead and use it.
The difference isn't very visible in photos, but the yellow is gone and the blonde parts now look more.. milky. Also, the two to three inches of black roots are gone, though not completely. It doesn't look like this IRL though. The blonde is a more ashy color, with an apparent green tinge. Not the color I was expecting, but I'm really happy that the yellow is gone. I might have my hair dyed again soon, because I want my hair to be a lighter shade of brown. :)

This is the third outfit that I've posted where I'm wearing this top, I realize. It's pretty much become my go-to shirt, especially since the weather's starting to become quite confusing again. I'm pretty sensitive to the cold, so I try my best to keep warm during the rainy season. This shirt does a good job of just that, which is why I like it so much.

Some photos from a day out with Aian last Friday. We had lunch at Tokyo Cafe. It's our favorite place to eat when in MoA. We always order the Teriyaki Chicken Salad, always. It doesn't matter what else we order as long as we get the salad. Haha! We also had the Pork Shogayaki. For drinks, Aian tried their Strawberry Orange Shake while I got a Matcha Milkshake. It was my first time trying Tokyo Cafe's matcha shake. It was really yummy! True matcha enthusiasts might not like it though. It was more milk than matcha.. but that's how I like my drinks, milky and sweet.

After that we went bowling! The last time I set foot inside a bowling alley was in 2007, way back in my first year of uni. I chose 10-pin bowling for PE at the time, because bowling was one of the very few sports that I knew how to play. I actually really like bowling, but it's been years since I last played, so when Aian asked if I wanted to check out the bowling alley in SM MoA, I was really excited and nervous at the same time.

I was super rusty but I think I did well! There are just some things that the body doesn't forget, I guess? I somehow managed to get one strike, so I was very happy about that!

Final score: 37 - 82. Heh. We only played one game but I was so tired afterwards. My thighs actually started hurting in the middle of the game, wtf. I completely blame it on my sedentary lifestyle. Back in college we used to play 2-3 games and I wouldn't be tired at all! My current body = old woman body. I had fun though! I even asked Aian if we could go back soon. Hopefully sometime this month we can, and with friends this time!
These are photos from some of the many amazing people I stalk on Instagram. I use my account mainly for following purposes anyway, so I thought I'd share them on my blog on a regular basis. I'll only be posting just four photos from four Instagram users each time, hence the name 4x4 :)

OLIVE des OLIVE top, from Landmark shorts, Accessorize tights, OASAP creepers, gifted Rilakkuma bag, Dark Sweet Soul headband, Urbanears Bagis earphones in Tomato.
Cute yet bittersweet look for a day out. I really like that edgy yet sweet look that a lot of aomoji kei girls like Juria Nakagawa have, so I tried replicating it and adding my own touch. I think it's still miles away from Juria's style, but at least I got to wear my pretty spike headband from Dark Sweet Soul again!Let me talk a bit about my new favorite accessory—my new Bagis earphones from Urbanears! I love music. All kinds of music. If you've been following my blog for some time now, you must know that most of my outfit posts take titles from my favorite songs or songs that I think fit my outfit. Just recently, my iPod's earphones broke (because I am a bear and accidentally stepped on one of them), so I was really ecstatic when I received these earphones from Digits Trading! In my favorite color, too! Now I can listen to music whenever and wherever I go. So awesome. Thanks, DT! ♥

Late post, but I guess it's better than not posting these at all. Random photos from the month of July of this year. July was fairly better to me than all the other months that came before it, I think. I'm slowly recovering from the all the combined heartbreaks of the past months. August is the same. I've received a number of (very unexpected) opportunities and happy surprises in just the first couple of weeks. Thank You, Lord, for everything.
I'm pretty sure many of you have heard about the recent events that happened in the Philippines. We've been experiencing a lot of rain for the past week, and what's scary is that it's not that the rain was heavy, it was just non-stop rain almost the whole week. In just a few days, a huge part of Manila was left submerged in flood water. Aian and I were fortunate enough to be living in areas that weren't affected by the flood, but a lot of people weren't as lucky. So if you can do anything help, anything at all, please do! Here are just a couple of ways you can:
- Local - You can donate goods (usable clothes, food, water, etc.) or volunteer at a nearby relief center. Click here to see the list of places accepting donations and/or volunteers. If you can't leave the house, you can also donate cash via SMS or GCash. (Click here, then scroll down.)
- International - You can donate cash via Paypal to the Philippine Red Cross. (Click here to find out how.)
