Hince True Dimension Radiance Balm Review | chainyan.co
I realized I never got to share these on the blog, but sometime last year I got to try the popular True Dimension Radiance Balms from Hince! Everyone knows how much I LOVE makeup that makes me look like a real-life glitterball, so when these balms started popping up on my IG and Tiktok feeds I was just dying to try them! Big thanks to BAZZAAL and Hince for sending these out for me to try! ⸜(。 ˃ แต• ˂ )⸝♡

Currently the True Radiance Balms come in 7 colors, but at the time there were only 4:
  • Clear — Crystal clear pure glow
  • Tender Room — Softly glistening peachy glow
  • Dawn Ray — Poised glow with beige undertone
  • Light — Sophisticated glow with fine pearl

Texture is well..balmy. Just as you would expect of a balm-type product. (Reminds me of MajoMajo's Blood On Cheek and Lip Tint!) It melts as you apply it on the skin and blends out super easily to give a beautiful natural glow. Hince recommends applying it directly or by using fingers, but I've found that applying with a puff is the only way I can apply without lifting my base makeup off. Lasts fairly well for a balm, but it does fade throughout the day. I don't know if I'm super sensitive with the products I put on my face, but there is a slight lagkit factor after applying, but nothing a little setting spray can't fix.

Clear and Light are highlighters, while Tender Room and Dawn Ray are blushers. Clear is transparent with no particles, while Light has very fine shimmer. I've seen Clear being called a dupe to Chanel's Baume Essentiel Multi-Use Glow, but I haven't tried that one personally so I wouldn't know hehe. For the blushers, the color is super sheer, so it's def more for subtle makeup looks. These are also great for layering over powder blush for that Tanghulu makeup look that was trending among K-idols last year!

Overall these balms are really good. There's a bit of a learning curve for me, especially since I'm used to using mostly powder blushers and highlighters. But the glow you get from these is SOOO PRETTY. Instant glass skin. If you like the clean girl / no-makeup makeup look, or if you're like me and just love a good glowy makeup look, then these balms are a definite must-try!
