Hey everyone, I'm back with another contact lens review – this time from K-lenspop, a cosmetic lens company based in Seoul, Korea. The truth is, K-lenspop sent me these lenses back in May, but for some reason it got lost in the local post office, so I only received them early this September ;____; But here they are, finally. The lenses are Ellen Panda PM 12 Blue* ♥

Close-up of lens design. I noticed that the color of the lens isn't a very vivid blue. It's opaque, but the color is more translucent in the center. The inner ring design isn't a solid circle, which is exactly the type that I like, because it blends well with my natural eye color.

When worn. The blue is very subtle and blends naturally with my dark brown eyes. The outer ring also looks a more solid black than in the case.

COLOR & DESIGN

When K-lenspop asked me to review these lenses, I wasn't sure how I'd like them. It's been a year (or two?) since I last wore blue lenses, since I didn't think blue eyes would look nice on me with my jet black hair. Thankfully the blue is quite subtle, and the design is the type that blends naturally with dark Asian eyes, so I can wear these even for everyday wear.

ENLARGEMENT

Diameter is 14mm, so these aren't supposed to be very enlarging, but for some reason my eyes still look quite large with these? Might be worth a try if you want a dolly look, but don't want to look alien-y with super huge lenses.

COMFORT

Fairly comfortable. Wore these for about 6 hours outside, and I didn't experience any discomfort at all.

FINAL THOUGHTS

While in my opinion the design isn't something amazing, and the outer ring could have been less black, overall I quite like these lenses. The blue color is actually very pretty – vibrant, yet subtle. Great for both natural and dolly looks. These would be a great choice for cosplays of schoolgirl or idol characters (or school idol characters, heheh) as well.

You can get these lenses at K-lenspop for $18, and if you use the code R9LAF9SP upon checkout, you can get a 10% discount. There are many other designs available, plus Korean skincare and makeup items. You should definitely check their site out ;)
