review : OLENS Jennifer Contact Lens

Found these photos while organizing my files and realized I never got to post my review for these! OLENS sent me their Jennifer Lenses* before they were released back in December of 2022, and I did the shoot for them in January 2023, but at the time I was quite disappointed with how the photos turned out, and so I decided not to post them. Looking at the photos now though....I honestly don't know what the problem was, lol. Oh well ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The Jennifer series features vivid colors and an exotic iris design pattern. OLENS is known for their natural-looking conract lens designs, so this series is different from what they usually offer. The lenses come in 3 colors: Gray, Hazel, Olive. Graphic diameter for these is 13.3mm, so there's a visible enlarging effect.

Jennifer Gray — OLENS Global, Shopee

Dark gray outer ring + silver base + gold center. The main color is quite vivid, so it's sure to make your eyes pop with any look! These are also great to use as cosplay lenses for your fave silver-eyed characters 👀

Jennifer Hazel — OLENS Global, Shopee

Dark brown outer ring + hazel base + gold center. The hazel shade is super vibrant, which is great since it goes well with the gold in the middle, but unfortunately it's not my style. People with warmer, deeper skintones would probably love this more!

Jennifer Olive — OLENS Global, Shopee

Dark gray outer ring + olive base + gold center. The main color is a true olive green, which is rare as I find most olive lenses aren't actually olive-colored. This color goes well with my skintone and personal color (assuming I'm correct in thinking that I'm a soft spring, lol). Definitely my fave from the collection, hands down!

OLENS Monthly lenses are made from Polymacon/polyHEMA, unlike 1Day lenses which are made of Puscon, which is a higher quality material with higher water content. Though in my opinion, I feel like there's not much of a difference. My eyes tend to get dry very quickly so I prefer the latter, but I can wear both types without any problems.


Looking at the photos again, I was quite surprised to see that despite the bold color and design of the Jennifer lenses, somehow they still go well with the cutesy coquette style outfit I had on! While they aren't as natural-looking as most OLENS lenses, they're not over the top and are still very wearable. Though they might be a bit much for everyday wear, but for special occasions like events or photoshoots, these are perfect.
