review: OLENS pink lenses for Valentine's

OLENS Pink Contact Lenses Review | chainyan.co
Valentine's Day is just a few days away, and while I don't really like celebrating it, as a lover of all things pink (my second fave next to purple!) it makes me really happy seeing the color everywhere during this time heh. So today I thought I'd do something new a small collection review! Here are a few of OLENS' Pink Lenses that are perfect for Valentine's πŸ’—

OLENS is the No.1 premium color contact lens brand in South Korea, and their goal is to promote the value of 'Beauty&Healthy eyestyling' all over the world. These are the lenses for today's review: Vivi Ring Pink, Spanish Real Peach, and Crystal 3Con Pink!

Vivi Ring Pink — OLENS Global, Shopee
First up are my all-time favorite Vivi Ring lenses! The main features of the Vivi Ring series are its soft and creamy color, natural enlarging effect (graphic diameter is 13mm), and soft black edge line. I think of the Vivi Ring series as "my eyes but better" lenses, lol. I've tried almost all of the colors from this series, but I'm only trying the Pink colorway now. They're pretty, as expected, but against dark eyes they might look more purple than pink (which is actually better for me, lol). These are great if you want a super soft, romantic look. Where are my coquette girls at? πŸŒ·πŸ©°πŸŒΈπŸŽ€

Spanish Real Peach — OLENS Global
The Spanish Real Peach is a Monthly lens, part of the Spanish Real collection. They're peach-pink lenses with gold mixed in the inner ring. As the design is only in the middle of the iris, its graphic diameter is quite small at 11.9mm. If you're not familiar with these types of lenses, the design focuses on just changing the color/look of the iris, so it doesn't have an edge line. OLENS calls them "Iris Contacts". The Spanish and Scandi lenses fall under this type! I actually like these as they're so natural-looking, yet they can change my whole look depending on the color. I didn't think the pink would show up well against my eyes, but it's quite visible under natural light! The overall look is a lot more chic compared to the Vivi Ring. I was told by OLENS HQ that Jennie from BLACKPINK wears the Spanish lenses often, so if you like her style definitely check this out!

Crystal 3con Pink — OLENS Global, Shopee
Last but not least, Crystal 3con Pink lenses. I think the Crystal 3con is one of OLENS' lesser-known designs, as I almost never hear about them from other influencers. These are 3con or 3-color lenses. The main or base color is a soft, almost baby pink color. The inner ring is a natural gold shade, while the outer ring seems to be a very soft black. With a graphic diameter of 13.3mm, this has the biggest enlarging effect out of the three, but it's surprisingly still natural-looking when worn. Love how the diffused design blends seamlessly with my natural eye color. But what I love even more is that you can barely see the outer ring when worn! With my dark brown eyes it looks like a combination of pink, gold, and purple—such a pretty mix! I wasn't sure about this lens at first, but after trying it on I realized that this is 100% my style. It looks like the type of lens I would wear to events/conventions, haha! Cosplay friends would definitely love this one.

OLENS Monthly lenses are made from Polymacon/polyHEMA, while 1Day lenses are made of Puscon. The difference between the two is that Puscon is a more hydrophilic, higher quality material, with higher water content. But in my opinion, after trying both 1Day and Monthly lenses from OLENS, I feel like there's not much difference. My eyes tend to get dry very quickly, yet I can wear both types without any problems.

As someone who loves the fairycore/coquette aesthetic, I think it's pretty obvious which of these is my number one pick! (Surprisingly it was NOT the Vivi Ring *gasp*) I think all three are great though, depending on the look you want to go for. Let me know which one's your fave!
