project 365 : days 1 - 7

One of my goals for this year is to do a 365 or a 52 project, so I'm starting off today! What I plan to do is to take one photo every day of the year. It can be a photo taken using my dSLR, or just my camera phone. It can be a photo of an interesting event, or maybe just a selfie with the cats. It can be anything! I just want to take one photo for each year. I think it's a great way to help remember all the little special moments in my life. Hopefully, at the end of the year, I'll be able to make a roundup of all 365 photos. I've also decided to add Happy Lists to these posts, as inspired by Audrey of Brunch at Audrey's, just because I like the idea of looking back every week at all the things that made me happy :)

Some things that made me happy recently:
  1. Meeting my dad's cat again after almost a year. So cute and fluffy!
  2. Finally getting some rest after all the holiday events. I did get sick afterwards though, but I'm okay now!
  3. Writing down my new list of goals for 2017. Also, finally getting to use my Starbucks 2017 Planner.
  4. Getting my second birth control shot. I hate like getting shots in general, so I'm happy that it's over and done with! (The next one is in April though, so I'll have to worry about it again then u w u)
  5. Receiving my orders from BeautyMNL and Skincare Curator in the mail. New skincare stuff always makes me happy!
  6. Organizing my makeup stash. I chose the products I reach for a lot and the products I only use for special occasions and placed them in separate pouches for convenience. I also threw out a lot of expired items.
  7. Our babycats being extra malambing recently because the nights have become colder.
  8. Meeting with our friend Xandra. We had ramen for dinner (even though she's returning to Japan soon....lol) then had bingsu for dessert. We were so full! After that we went over to her house to play card games. It was fun, as always!
  9. Starting a new J-drama series – Juhan Shuttai! It's about the day-to-day struggles of mangaka and the editors, salesmen, etc. who work with them. I'm already familiar with parts of the whole process of making manga because of Aian's work, but both he and I have been learning more about it through this drama. It's very interesting. If you like reading manga, I suggest watching this. You'll have a better appreciation of manga as a whole.
  10. Spending a day with my UPM-OMAKE friends! Our beloved org celebrated its 10th anniversary yesterday, and I couldn't be prouder of all the members (from Generation 1 to 10) that made it possible ♥

What was the highlight of your week? :)

To have a better appreciation of life's moments, no matter how mundane, my 365 day challenge for 2017 is to take photos every day of the year, and at the same time write a list of things that have made me happy recently.
