Happy Sunday, everyone! Here's this week's 52 post, which marks the 8th week since I started my Project 52! That's two months of not missing a post! *party popper emoji* Although most of my photos so far have all been photos of cats and food, I hope you guys continue to look forward to these posts every week :) And with that, here are this week's photos + happy list!

Things that made me happy recently:
  1. Trying out Banapple for the first time. We always pass by Banapple whenever we're at ATC, but we've never thought to try it because we thought they only had pies and cakes. We tried their rice meals and they were really good!
  2. Finally getting my hands on the elusive Look At My Eyes Cafe single shadow in BE102. I've been to a ton of Etude House branches and this particular shadow is always sold out when I check. I randomly went into the one at ATC and found it there, so I bought it immediately. *prayer hands emoji* I also bought their empty palette for my other shadows.
  3. Having coffee while looking up at a pink-orange-blue pastel sky.
  4. Ordering a box of 10-piece McChicken Nuggets and getting 4 packets of barbecue sauce. 4!!!!
  5. After watching The Woman Called Fujiko Mine and Jigen Daisuke's Gravestone, I wanted to watch something that had both a good story and good animation, so I thought I'd finally download Uchouten Kazoku. I made Aian watch it with me and we finished it in two days. SO GOOD. I downloaded 3-gatsu no Lion as well, but we've only watched the first episode so far.
  6. Some people came over last Thursday to clean our air conditioning unit. It's been almost 2 years since we moved to this apartment but we've never had the AC cleaned until now. Now that it's clean, it's working like new. It's actually gotten so cold that all the kids have been wanting to snuggle all the time heheh.
  7. Finally receiving mail that I've been waiting for since December last year. Most of these were gifts from sponsors (some of which I thought had been lost in transit), so I'm relieved that they're finally here.
  8. We all went out yesterday to watch Vessel – a wadaiko (Japanese drum) performance by 器-utsuwa-. SO GOOD. Utsuwa's performance was the main event, but all of the other performances—guest performances by Adinkra Lumads Djembe Community, wadaiko master Akira Hoshino, shamisen player Yoshiro Watabe, and live painting by Atsuko Yamagata—were just as amazing. I'm glad we were able to watch such a great performance.

What was the highlight of your week?

To have a better appreciation of life's moments, no matter how mundane, my 365 day challenge for 2017 is to take photos every day of the year, and at the same time write a list of things that have made me happy recently.
