Finally back with another contact lens review! Finally. I guess this was to be expected, but Miss Rona really set me back with my product reviews. Released early this month, the Real Ring lenses are the newest series produced by OLENS. Described as luminous tone up color contacts that naturally blend with your eyes, the Real Ring is an upgraded combination product of the Vivi Ring and Spanish Real series. Those two in particular are my faves when it comes to natural-looking lenses, so I was pretty excited when I heard about it! What's more, I found out that the Real Ring is BLACKPINK Jennie's pick! Real Ring lenses come in Gray and Brown. Graphic diameter is 12.5mm, which is right between the Vivi Ring (13mm) and the Spanish Real (11.9mm).
REAL RING VS VIVI RING VS SPANISH REAL
I feel like OLENS is constantly looking for ways to make their lenses more and more natural-looking, and by now they've already got things down pat. The fact that they chose to combine these two specific lenses, the Vivi Ring and the Spanish Real, is amazing to me because those are the exact two series that are my go-to when I want natural lenses. Strangely enough though, when I put the three lenses together side by side I really couldn't figure out what feature of the Spanish Real lenses was put into the Real Ring, exactly. To me the Real Ring just looks like a less saturated version of the Vivi Ring, only smaller and with a thinner outer ring. Design-wise, I really like the Real Ring but overall still prefer the Vivi Ring because of the more dispersed design in the center.
REAL RING GRAY — OLENS Global, Shopee
Clear gray lenses with a thin dark outer ring. Unlike most lenses that lean blue, this is more of an ash gray. I find that the color is much lighter in natural light than indoors or with artificial lights like in my photos. Design-wise there's not much of a pattern. Because the Real Ring lenses were designed to emulate the look of how light hits the eyes when using a ring light, color is darker on the outside and gets lighter as it goes to the center. That's it. I wish they'd made the part in the middle a little more dispersed, just like in the Vivi Ring series.

Soft brown lenses with a thin dark outer ring. Again, the actual color is much lighter in natural light than indoors or with artificial lights. I don't like brown lenses that lean too yellow or too red, so these were perfect for me!
Like all of OLENS Monthly lenses, these are made from Polymacon/polyHEMA. The water content is a little lower than that of Puscon lenses (1Day lenses) but still very comfortable. I can wear these and just forget that I'm even wearing lenses. Super comfy even for my eyes that tend to get dry easily. As these are Monthly lenses, they only come in packs of 2s. Yet another great design from OLENS! Personally I still prefer the Vivi Ring series overall, but I'll probably wear the Real Ring lenses from time to time as well. If you like Jennie's clean girl / minimal makeup looks, then definitely give these a try!
