A bit later than expected, but here's part 2 of my KL2017 photodiaries! I'm actually sitting outside on the balcony of our Airbnb and typing this post using my phone as we speak, haha! My thoughts might be a bit messed up in this post, but I hope you at least enjoy the photos :)
Suuuper cute Kaonashi coin bank! I really wanted one but it was almost P1,000 ;____;
On Day 2 I had a lot more time to go around, so I used that time to take photos of cosplayers~
Aian at the Cupcat Images booth + selfie with Froppy Hanie~
Hanie with other students from Class A~
The lineart demo from Day 1, complete!
People flocking to Suria in the evening. The lights at Suria during the Christmas season are always so nice~
Annual dinner + catching up with Neesa! Neesa meets up with us whenever we're in KL, and every year she takes us to good places for yummy authentic Malaysian food. This year we were supposed to have pan mee, but the place was closed already so we had buttermilk chicken instead~ I had three-layer tea and buttermilk chicken rice. SO GOOD.
LOKL was quite nice! I liked their food. They have different menus for breakfast, lunch, and tea time. For lunch, I had salmon and avocado toast. I'd never eaten avocado before, so I was surprised at the taste. It was kind of buttery? Texture and taste-wise. I guess that was why it tasted good with the smoked salmon! Then it was teatime shortly after that, so we had cake and iced coffee.
Selfie + outfit photo with Hanie~
After that we went to Central Market to buy souvenirs, and then we went to Sunway Velocity Mall, a new-ish mall near Hanie's place. We played Taiko no Tatsujin! So fun. It's always fun hanging out with Hanie~~
When we got back at the Airbnb, it was time to pack and clean the room~~
Last look at this beauty. Got to take a photo of the KL Tower while the lights were red. This was the very last thing I saw before we left for the airport. It felt like the tower was saying goodbye to us before we left ❤
Will be forever in love with this city. There's always something new to discover whenever I come back, and at the same time it already feels so much like home that I find myself thinking about it whenever I'm not there. It's like a home away from home, in a way. Can't wait to share this year's photos with everyone as well.
