Bon Odori Festival at Manila Japanese School in Taguig. This is a yearly event held at MJS, and I believe this is our third year attending. The first time I went, I was with Aian and his brother. Last year we went with a slightly bigger group of friends, but this year there was only Aian, Allysa, and myself. It's fun to experience these kinds of events from time to time, since it's a nice change of pace from the usual Japanese pop culture–centered conventions that we go to. The best part about this yearly event is that I get to meet old and new friends from our org in uni, UPM-OMAKE. Plus festival food is always good (although a bit expensive).

We had parfait at St. Marc Cafe afterwards. The Choco Berry one is my favorite. The pudding is the best part!

What happened when we brought out the Churu after almost 3~4 months of not giving them any. A Mess.

Sometime mid-March, a new kitty found her way in front of our apartment building. We regularly feed the strays that pass by our area, so from time to time some kitties like this one come up to us because they know we have food and water. I'm guessing this little one was 3 months old at the time. Sometime in August, we ended up adopting her as well. Now she lives with us. Aian's brother named her Sosig LOL.

Visited Robinsons Manila after a while. Back in high school and uni I used to go here all the time after and in between classes that I practically lived here. Now I couldn't even go around without getting lost. I wanted to try eating at Tim Ho Wan, so I coerced Aian to try the pork buns with me. They were good, but I liked the spinach dumplings with shrimp more. I had two servings!

I also found a Rilakkuma Store, and almost went a little crazy. (I only bought a pen and some stickers.)

In late March, Aian and I registered for the July JLPT. N5 for Aian, N4 for me. It was exciting at the time. (Spoiler: Aian and I both failed our exams lol cry)

Since we still had a bit of free time after dropping by the Japan Foundation, we went to Rockwell to have lunch at Din Tai Fung. Then after that we went to the arcade to pass the time. We played Maimai for a bit until my arms got tired. It was fun. By the way, my favorite song on this is Ojamamushi.

This post took quite a while.. The reason why I couldn't put this up earlier was because I had so many photos of Buchi to go through. I took so many photos of him in March, since it was his first month living inside the house. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, then you might already know this, but Buchi passed away just this August. That's why it was hard for me to even look at his pictures without my heart hurting. It doesn't hurt as much now, but looking at these pictures made me just a little bit sad.
