Some photos from last month's successful Kawaii Market event! I wanted to take as many photos as I could and document everything ~properly~, but since the event space was so packed the entire time (300+ attendees!!), I spent most of the day outside by the entrance. I didn't bring my camera with me either, so these were all taken with my phone! Which explains why 80% of the photos in this post are selcas, haha _(┐「ε:)_
For better more photos from this event, please check out this album on the Kawaii PH Facebook page! (*ꈍ꒳ꈍ*)♡

Lately I've been too busy watching K-beauty videos on Youtube, so I only got to watch Twice's MV for Cheer Up today. It's really nice and I liked it a lot. Seems like I've got the shy shy shy fever! And while we're on the topic of shyness (and being shy shy shy~)—I've always been a shy and introverted person (I'm an INFP-A), even though my friends say I give off a different vibe online. I also deal with occasional, yet mild, bouts of social anxiety. Add to that, a handful of body issues .. it's amazing how I'm able to keep this blog going, honestly! (꒪⌓꒪)
A few weeks ago, I was sent this adorable dress by the lovely people over at Alice's Pig, a fashion brand from Brixton in South London inspired by vintage style and Alice in Wonderland. The name is a reminder that colliding styles and cultures can produce something interesting and that there can be beauty and surprise in anything; even in a pig. Their brand image speaks to me so much that I was so happy they sent me a piece of my choosing. So what does this have to do with shyness? Well, the first time I tried this dress on.. I felt I was too fat for it. The dress looked SO CUTE but I couldn't bring myself to get past that feeling. But then I thought to myself, I am a hundred times more confident when I have my makeup on, so I did a little test shoot with it. After that I showed my friends the photos and asked if I looked okay, but with them being the ever-supportive cheerleaders that they are (hi SK, I mean you), just told me that I looked fine. That gave me a bit of courage.
I know it may not seem like a big deal, but for me, it's baby steps! Now to take an even bigger step outside of my comfort zone—I should try and wear the dress when I go out. (Which I will definitely do in the future, because this shoot and styling did not do this cute dress justice!)

Late to the Revlon matte balm party, but better late than never, right? Last month I posted a photo of myself trying out "dohwasal makeup", or peach blossom makeup, a makeup look that's popular in Korea. In the photo, I was wearing my then-newly acquired Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Mischievous. After posting the photo I received a couple of requests to do a review, so here it is!
