Photos from my 21st month celebration with Aian at Little Tokyo.
In a few hours, we'll all be saying goodbye to the year that was. This year was memorable for everyone for a lot of different reasons. For me, 2011 was a particularly eventful year. Even though it wasn't as great as past ones, I'm still very thankful. I got to meet a lot of new people, and gained a lot of new friends. I particularly thank the blogosphere and the magical power of the Internet for this. The ones that I'm most thankful for meeting, you know who you are! Also, thanks to my blog, a lot of opportunities have opened up for me. A lot of collaborations and sponsorships came to me this year. This would never have happened without Little Forest Girl. And of course, because of this blog, a lot of people have told me that they got interested in the mori girl style because of my blog. Also, a lot of girls from all over the world have told me that they like and are inspired by my blog. Hearing that, it makes me really happy! Thank you.
Let's all welcome the year with happy hearts, and continue to chase after our dreams. Happy New Year, everyone!

Bershka bolero, Romantic Fiona top, Lowrys Farm skort, thrifted ribbon heels, gifted Rilakkuma bag & glass orb watch, ToFebruary.com You're Beautiful ribbon barette.
My very last outfit post for the year 2011. So surprised to see that I actually managed to buy almost a full coord from one visit at the thrift store. My favorite parts of this outfit would have to be the bag and the glass orb watch. Both were given to me by Aian as gifts-- the former for Christmas, and the latter for our 21st month together. Also, I want to thank everyone for supporting me with this blog; Little Forest Girl started out as an experimental personal style blog, and as an outlet for me to fawn over my then-newly-found obsession with mori girls. And though my style has changed and the blog has grown to be something greater than it was before, until now I'm still very much in love with the mori girl life and style, and everything else that it encompasses. And I'm hoping that people will get drawn to mori girl as well, after reading my blog. That would make me so happy!

My last photodiary for this year. I'm so, so grateful for all the lovely people who visit my blog. These little diaries of mine started as just a way of dumping all the photos I took over the month into one big hodgepodge of a post so I don't have to write about them. It amazes me even until now that there are actually people who look forward to them each month, trying to see the story behind each one. I'm happy that I get to show bits and pieces of my life (even though I try to keep most of it as private as possible) to my readers. Thank you so, so much. Merry Christmas, everyone! :)

This is Nisa, my muse from day one. My first ever personal shoot was with her, around 4 years ago I think, and we've done lots and lots of shoots together ever since. Even though we haven't done as many shoots this year as we did before (this year we only had two, including this one), she still remains as one of my favorite people to work with. I can ask her to roll around in dirt or climb up a tree and she'll do it, no questions asked, and I love working with her because of that. This was shot in her room one Tuesday afternoon, while listening to The Naked and Famous and Flight Facilities.
