Photos from our recent trip to Boracay. We spent four days and three nights at the Le Soleil de Boracay. I spent most of the time in the hotel watching TV while everyone was out enjoying the Boracay nightlife, because I'm not much of a party person, really. The only times I ever went out were when we went to eat lunch or dinner, when we went swimming in the afternoon (because I refused to go swimming when the sun was still glaring) and when we went around looking for souvenirs. Other than that, I mostly just stayed in and watched Halloween specials on TV. But I did have a lot of fun. I managed to buy a few of the local goods, got my hair put up in braids, splashed around in the sea, and finally got my ears industrial piercing done. Despite having to endure four days of no wifi in the hotel room and having sand all over the bed whenever I lied down, overall I really liked Boracay. Though I still prefer a much quieter environment; Boracay was a bit too crowded for my lola self. Maybe next time I could drag Aian along to a beach that's more isolated from people for a week of rest and relaxation. But knowing me, I'd probably jump into the water the first chance I get, lol.
