Model: Bea Benedicto
Make-up: Chai Mungcal (me)
Accessories: Viva La Manika
Styling/photography/post-processing: Louise Anne Manuel

Sometime last month, I was asked (yet again) by Luisa to do makeup for one of her shoots. We finally had the shoot last Monday, at Red Talent Studio in Makati. The lovely photos that you see above are the result of that shoot.

Here are some behind-the-scenes photos I took with Aian's new camera, hee.

Luisa and our pretty pretty model that day, Bea! You guys might already know her from her blog, The Fashion Bamboozle. She's also appeared in commercials and this MV by Rico Blanco. I'm such a fangirl, when I was asked to do makeup I couldn't say no!

So pretty, this girl!! (I took a photo of Bea's photo. Photoception! Haha.)

The two looks I did, based on this photo. Just a natural look for the base, but I got to play around with colors for her eyes.
Can I just say, I'm a biiit disappointed with how the second one turned out. I'll do better next time ;___;

My messy, messy workstation. Such a noob at this ;;

Luisa putting the headpiece on Bea (while hiding her face, wtf).

Florals x florals. Bea all decked out in Viva La Manika floral accessories.

More flowers! They were all over the place that day, haha.

We had a bit of free time after the shoot, so Luisa took photos of Bea's accessories. Check out her shop, Bea's Place ♥ ♥

Quick snaps after the shoot! (#selfies lol)

Of course I had to take a photo with Bea, even though I looked like crap next to her. *fangirl*

This would be my second time doing makeup for a shoot. Should I start studying makeup for real? Haha! The first time was much easier because I was only doing a natural dolly look (which I do aaaall the time on my own face, lol), this time it was a bit of a challenge. I wasn't used to putting makeup on other people, so I didn't know what to do and what not to do.. Thankfully Bea was such a lovely model and didn't complain at all. Also, she's already very pretty naturally, so I didn't have to do much. I wish I'd applied the colors a bit better though! I still have a long way to go.. So, so happy that I got to work with Bea through this though! I've liked her and her blog for the longest time now, so shooting with her was a really lovely experience. Hopefully, I'll be able to work with her as both makeup artist and photographer in the future!ヽ(⌒▽⌒)ノ
