Liz Lisa top, vintage shorts, from Korea heels, SM Dept Store socks and headband, diy medicine bottle necklace.
Was feeling really girly yesterday, so I decided to wear something mori gyaru style! I took the girliest Liz Lisa piece that I owned and paired it with baby blue shorts, the pinkest pair of socks I could find, and my sky-high ribbon platforms. (All that's left is a basket full of flower petals, haha!)

From Greenhills blouse, from BF Ruins top, thrifted shorts, Topshop tights, from Korea platform heels, Vivienne Westwood bag.
What I wore yesterday, the day before my birthday.. which just happens to be today, haha! Because my birthday fell on a Sunday this year, and I usually go out with my family on Sundays, Aian and I had to celebrate my birthday a day early. Only, we weren't able to celebrate it fully, we only had time to sit down for cake and coffee but it was fun nonetheless.

Aian got me a whole cake (!!!), and we had it with coffee at Starbucks. I think some of the kids there were giving us weird looks for eating straight out of the box but what the heck, we went ahead and devoured half of it anyway. The other half went home with me, haha! Aian also got me reeeeally nice gifts. I feel a bit guilty for them, actually, as they came from money that Aian's worked so hard for, but I realized being guilty over it isn't the right way of thinking. I should be thankful for receiving nice things, especially for nice things from someone who put a lot of thought and love into getting them for you. So I'm very thankful.

For everything that's happened when I was twenty-one, and to everyone who gave me all their love and support, thank you so much. I promise to work hard towards my dreams from today, and every day onward as well ♡

Sometime last week I was invited by Raphie, an online friend of mine, to model for her shoot. Because it was a mori girl-themed shoot, we wanted to do it in a library, but then thought it would be better to do it in a cafe instead. Café Noriter seemed the most fitting for it, so we decided to shoot there.

We had the shoot yesterday afternoon. I wasn't a stranger to Noriter, as I've been there a couple of times with Jaro about a year ago, but I've never had any of their cakes. Sooo, because it was Aian's first time in the cafe (and because we'd been craving for cake since two weeks ago), we decided to get ourselves two different flavors of cake! Sansrival and Choco Cappuccino cake, nom! After we finished eating, we decided to start shooting. Here are some photos Aian took:

I really like how these turned out, and maybe we'll visit Noriter another time to shoot (and get a taste of their chocolate cake). I'll only be posting these photos for now; I think it's better to wait until the main photographer has posted her set before I go posting any more of mine. Until next time, have a lovely rest of the week everyone ♥

all we care about is talking, talking only me and you

Liz Lisa floral top, DIY denim shorts, Topshop tights, thrifted heels and bag, Accessorize hairpin
Yesterday was Cosplay Mania XI, one of the biggest anime and cosplay events of the year, and Aian and I attended. It's been a long time since we've gone to conventions such as these, so I thought I'd wear something different from my usual natural kei outfits. I went for a somewhat Spring-inspired look, despite the gloomy rainy weather. And because I was going for a Spring look, I decided to wear my pretty Liz Lisa top, which I scored from thrifts for just P150 (around $3.50) hoho! Wore it with denim and my favorite Topshop tights so as not to make it look too girly, but then kept the Liz Lisa look by wearing dainty pink kitten heels. For accessories, I used my favorite flower hairpin and my hobo bag to have a little bit of mori in the whole look. My favorite mori gyaru look I've worn yet ♡
